Chris Jericho Promises To Create Another Celebrity On AEW Dynamite This Week

Chris Jericho is a very influential human. He can christen someone with a new nickname by just speaking it on television. Sammy Guevara has his Spanish God nickname to thank for that fact. Now Jericho has his eyes on making someone else famous.

Jericho is set to go one on one with Pineapple Pete this week on Dynamite. The former AEW World Champion sent out a warning to Suge D.

His name is @sugardunkertonfasho, but I call him #PineapplePete. I gave this guy a new name, a new gimmick, a new T-shirt and a whole new level of notoriety. And this Wednesday, I’m going to give him something that only the chosen few experience…a match against #LeChampion! Get ready for the night of your life #PineapplePete….I’m gonna make ya famous.

We’ll have to see if Chris Jericho can create another star this week on Dynamite. There are much less painful ways to earn celebrity status.

Jericho has given plenty of stars a boost in the past by associating with his greatness. Pineapple Pete might find himself on another level after this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
