AJ Styles and The Undertaker battled at WrestleMania 36, but it took a lot of work to pull off that Boneyard Match. Jeremy Borash and others were brought in from the NXT and digital department. Those people really saved the day by pulling their resources together.
Bryan Alvarez mentioned on Wrestling Observer Live that it was AJ Styles who had Jeremy Borash and his crew brought in to work on the Boneyard Match during WrestleMania.
“I don’t know this for sure, but the impression I was given is that AJ Styles requested Borash and his crew be the ones who put this thing together because he knew those guys from Impact. I’m 99% that’s true.”
Jeremy Borash actually made his WWE television debut last week on 205 Live. Click here to check out that clip.
Triple H told a great story about figuring out how to produce the Boneyard Match. Vince McMahon had zero idea what a Boneyard Match was when he booked it. Triple H didn’t reveal whose idea it was to bring in Jeremy Borash. It makes total sense that AJ Styles would realize what Borash can do behind the scenes.
