WWE could be permitted to bring fans back to their television tapings soon, but is it a good idea to be so eager?

During the Non-Essential Wrestlers podcast, Mike Kanellis stated that he wasn’t sure how to feel about bringing fans back to events. WWE leading the charge to reopen events and continue. This is going to provide examples for other sporting leagues who also wish to open their doors again soon.

“We’re in a pandemic. Nothing is running. No shows are running so yes, obviously the MLB and NFL, and NBA, and NHL are going to take tips and advice [from WWE] — it would be the same thing as if just UFC was running. They run the same type of events. So if someone is leading the way in that field maybe as a blueprint, maybe even as what not to do.”

WWE is still trying things as they establish a new normal. They are in Florida which is the correct state to hold events if bringing back fans is a priority. The goal is to fill venues at 25% capacity soon.

It might take a while before things return to anything close to what they were before. WWE’s persistence to never give up is certainly leading the way that many other organizations will follow.
