Rich Swann suffered a bad leg break in January and he’s been out of action since. He needed surgery and is now on the mend.

Impact Wrestling could use his abilities, but he’s doing what he can to recover quickly and get back to action soon. His good friend Willie Mack has kept in contact with Swann and now we have an update.

While speaking to Wrestling Inc, Willie Mack provided an update on Rich Swann’s current injury status. He’s not back to full health just yet, but Swann is making progress. A nasty leg break like the one Rich Swann suffered takes some time to heal.

“He’s doing good. He’s doing better than he was before and is walking around. He’s not 100 percent but he’s getting close. His recovery process should be good in a few more months but we’ll see. It will be good to have the homey back on the road again. I know he’s going crazy not being able to wrestle and just watching us wrestle.”

Hopefully, Rich Swann will be able to use this time and rest up. He is probably focusing on what he wants to achieve when he’s back to 100% as well.

Impact Wrestling is carrying on in his absence. The climate in Impact changed dramatically with the re-introduction of the TNA World Heavyweight Title. Let’s see if Rich Swann can get involved in that title chase eventually.
