Original: WWE released a lot of names on April 15th. Now we’re finding out about another one and it will be a huge loss for the company.
Dave Meltzer has confirmed that WWE released Gerald Brisco from his contract. He was one of the names let go on April 15th. His name didn’t get out because WWE didn’t release a list of internal firings.
Brisco was with WWE since 1984. He was one of Vince McMahon’s most trusted advisors for years. Along with Pat Patterson he was known during the Attitude Era as a member of the Stooges.
He was helping the company in a talent scouting capacity in recent years. Odds are Gerald Brisco isn’t the last firing that will come out from the company’s widespread cuts on April 15th.
