For many years it never really felt like Tamina was an established threat on the main roster, and more often than not, she was treated as more of an afterthought than anything else.

Now, though, she’s got her chance to make some noise as she prepares to challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

In terms of the odds, Bayley is currently the strong 1/5 favorite to walk out of MITB with the title. Tamina, on the other hand, is the 10/3 underdog.

It seems incredibly hard to believe that Tamina is going to become champion, especially when you consider the fact that WWE is clearly pushing for a Bayley vs Sasha Banks showdown somewhere down the line – perhaps even at SummerSlam.

In order to get to that point, they need to keep the title on her and make her look strong.
