Lio Rush was released from WWE today like so many others. The company needed to cut expenses and several Superstars were released. This was a sad day for the company, but the world is going through a very terrible time right now.

Rush reflected on his journey through WWE. He had a lot of highs and many lows. Unlike Drake Maverick, Lio Rush was not included in the NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament. This means that his time in the company is done.

He was grateful for everything that WWE afforded him and his family. He’s proud of the work he was able to do in WWE while working alongside legends as well.
