Lance Storm was among nine other producers who were let go from WWE. WWE producers are reportedly furloughed and not released like others.

Storm sent out an encouraging message to those who are still with WWE. He told them to “hold down the fort.” He also sent his best to those like him who are out of work.

My best to all who, like me, lost their jobs today. To those still on the job, hold down the fort for us. It was my pleasure to work with you all these past 4 months. I hope we will all get a chance to work together again. Stay strong, stay safe.

This was a hopeful message. Lance Storm has faith like many others that the novel coronavirus will eventually level off and people can get back to some form of life as we used to know it. It will take a lot of work, isolation, and concentrating on doing what is best to stop the spread of COVID-19.
