The Miz Wants More Recognition for Intercontinental Title Success

The Intercontinental Championship is a title that has quite the history, with some former champions thriving with the belt and others not really doing all too much to further the prestige of this historic prize.

One man who has undoubtedly been a big influence in the development of the IC title over the course of the last eight years is none other than The Miz.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear as if WWE is quite as willing to recognize that fact.

Edge, Razor, Michaels and Orton have all done some wonderful things with the Intercontinental Championship, but let’s not pretend like The Miz isn’t part of that illustrious group.

He may not go down in history as one of the biggest names to have held the belt, but all we need to do is look at his track record to see what he was able to do for the title.
