WWE had to figure out how to continue their programming in the midst of the novel coronavirus pandemic. They utilized the WWE Performance Center for a majority of those tapings and that will continue to be their home.
Orange County, the county in which the Orlando is located is going under a “stay at home” order effective late Thursday night. WWE is wrapping up filming for WrestleMania 36 today at the WWE Performance Center with zero fans just in time.
Ryan Satin reports that WWE has already wrapped up filming for the RAW after WrestleMania. The stay at home order ends on April 9th. WWE plans on filming at the WWE Performance Center after the order is lifted as well.
The stay-at-home order in Orange Country – where the PC is located – is scheduled to last until April 9.
From what I’m hearing, WWE has already filmed the April 6 Raw after Mania matches and it sounds like they’re planning to continue filming at the PC once the order is lifted.
It is unclear when WWE will be able to get back on the road. Once the company can start booking venues again things might have to be a bit different. We’ll have to see how everything develops over time.
