WWE is holding WrestleMania 36 on April 4th and 5th and they are taping the show of shows on Wednesday and Thursday this week. They are still hammering out some big choices about the event.

We previously reported via Wrestle Votes that WWE was tossing around the idea of Becky Lynch vs Shayna Baszler was being pushed as the main event. This is still a decision that hasn’t been 100% made.

Fightful Select reports that there is a lot of “back and forth” going on over this week in WWE about the main event. Baszler vs Lynch was talked about to main event, but now there is a push for Roman Reigns vs Goldberg to close out the show.

At one point, Becky Lynch vs. Shayna Baszler was set to main event night one. However, there is word there was a push for Reigns and Goldberg to be in that spot.

WWE has a lot of wiggle room because of the way they are going about things. Since everything is pre-recorded it was noted that “they can make about anything happen with the way they’re filming it.”

Brock Lesnar vs Drew McIntyre wasn’t part of this report. That very well could indicate that the Beast Incarnate’s WWE Title match against the Scottish Psychopath already has dibs on main eventing one of the nights.
