Why Paige Wasn’t Used During WWE SmackDown This Week

Paige didn’t make it to the WWE Performance Center for this week’s Friday Night SmackDown. She said that it was out of her control.

PW Insider reports that Paige and Nia Jax weren’t at SmackDown this week. Paige was supposed to be on this week’s episode for some kind of an angle. The idea was scrapped when the show was moved to the Performance Center.

Neither Paige nor Nia Jax were at the Performance Center today.    We are told the plan to use Paige on the show changed due to running at the PC.

Paige was very bummed about being pulled from SmackDown. She dropped a hint that she might get another chance down the line.

We might never know what was supposed to happen had the show taken place in Detroit as scheduled. All we know is whatever they had planned might not have worked well without a live audience present.
