WWE WrestleMania is slated to take place in Tampa on April 5th, but the coronavirus outbreak might change those plans. If WWE must postpone WrestleMania 36 they have a back-up plan.
The city of Tampa has a meeting scheduled for today. They will determine at that time whether they are canceling major events in the city.
Alex McCarthy reports that WWE’s current contingency plan for WrestleMania is to hold the event in June or July. This would push the show of shows back to the summer leaving everyone to wonder what they will produce in the meantime.
June/July is one of WWE’s contingency plans I believe. With the European travel ban, number of events shutting down and even the NBA season outright suspended… I can’t see how WWE can run ‘Mania now.

The coronavirus situation has stepped up in a big way in the past two days. It is now a pandemic and plenty of events are being canceled around the globe. WrestleMania is still carrying on as scheduled, but that could change at any moment.
