Adam Cole appears to be on a collision course with Velveteen Dream in the kind of feud – and match – that could well define the run of both men in NXT.

Dream has had moments where he’s come across as the heel during his war against The Undisputed Era, but at this moment in time, it seems like his popularity continues to go through the roof with each appearance he makes.

Following their interaction on NXT last night, Cole made it clear that he doesn’t believe Dream stands much of a chance in winning the NXT Championship from him.

Logically speaking, if we do see some kind of TakeOver event go ahead in Tampa, it makes sense for this to be the main event considering Flair vs Ripley will be happening at WrestleMania.

It’d be one hell of a main event, but while Cole may be the champion, it makes all the sense in the world to believe that Dream is going to be the favorite to walk away with the strap.

Now, it’s just a case of actually getting to that point without further cancelations.
