Washington Governor Jay Inslee has decreed that all gatherings within King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties over 250 are now prohibited. This includes any gathering including for spiritual, entertainment, or social activities. Football is included in that list.

Inslee stated in a public address that they want to get ahead of the situation. They cannot wait until Washington State is in the middle of things.

“This is an unprecedented public health situation and we can’t wait until we’re in the middle of it to slow it down. We’ve got to get ahead of the curve. One main defense is to reduce the interaction of people in our lives.”
