Why WWE Kept Titles Off Heavy Machinery At Elimination Chamber

The Elimination Chamber included a daring spot where Otis ran straight through the walls of the chamber. He ended up on the floor and Tucker was soon taken out.

Mandy Rose chastised Otis on Twitter, but there is more to the story. Fans wonder why WWE didn’t have Heavy Machinery or Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode pick up the SmackDown Tag Team Titles in Philadelphia.

Dave Meltzer explained on Wrestling Observer Radio that Otis and Dolph Ziggler have a WrestleMania match planned. WWE kept the tag team titles off of those two teams because they want to use the titles for another match at the show of shows.

It was not noted how Tucker or Robert Roode will be used at WrestleMania. If Otis and Ziggler have a singles match then it’s likely that their partners will simply corner for them.
