Cody Rhodes Reacts To Jake Roberts Appearing On AEW Dynamite

Last night Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts appeared on AEW Dynamite – but instead of being a friendly face that Cody could lean on, Jake sent a message to Cody that things weren’t about to get easier in a hurry.

He referenced a client of his that will be debuting sooner rather than later, and while many believe that to be Brodie Lee, there’s still a whole lot up in the air as to whether or not it’s going to be the man formerly known as Luke Harper.

On Twitter after Dynamite, Cody had a short and sweet response to seeing Jake The Snake back on a major pro wrestling show.

Roberts could bring something really intriguing to All Elite Wrestling if he’s given the time and platform to do so, and if they do align him with Lee, then we could be in for some truly elite promos over the course of the next few weeks if not months.

Cody seems to be involved with a major storyline every other month and while some will argue that we’re seeing too much of him, he truly does make the product better purely with his presence.

From great matches to great promos and beyond, it’s not difficult to understand why people are excited to see him potentially go toe to hoe with Lee.
