Joey Janela On Getting A Call From AEW After Controversial Tweet

Joey Janela is the Bad Boy and they call him that for a reason. He’s looking to do as he pleases and that includes social media.

While recently speaking to Wrestling Inc, Janela brought up the tweet he sent out about AEW last year. There were rumors that he wasn’t happy with his booking for he played along. Apparently, he got a call about that tweet.

“I just did it, shoot. I didn’t ask permission. After I put up the tweet I got a call [laughs]. Really, I don’t give a sh*t. The reason why I’ve gotten as far as I have is that you don’t know what’s real and what’s fake when it comes to me on social media. You don’t know if I’m shooting or not shooting. A lot of the stuff I’ve done in my wrestling career, guys like Jim Cornette would call absolute cosplay bullshsh*t.”

Everything was fine between Joey Janela and All Elite Wrestling. It just goes to show that you never know what can happen in pro wrestling. This is especially true if you have a Bad Boy on your payroll.
