Sasha Banks Was Slated For Non-Wrestling Role At WWE WrestleMania

Sasha Banks hasn’t been seen on SmackDown for a few weeks. An injury is to blame for this and the current word is that she suffered an ankle injury.

Bayley made reference to Sasha Banks last night after the Super ShowDown. She said if Sasha Banks isn’t going to be at Friday Night SmackDown then she doesn’t want to show up either.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Sasha Banks should be ready for a return soon. It was also noted that The Boss was slated for a non-wrestling role in the original draft of the WrestleMania card.

Banks is still out of action with an ankle injury but should be back soon. She was listed for a non-wrestling spot on the pre-torn up WrestleMania show, although she may have also wrestled in the Battle Royal

We’ll have to see if Sasha Banks ends up getting physical at the show of shows. WWE can always use her in the WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal match, but her Sasha stans would certainly prefer to see The Boss actually getting a match on the grandest stage of them all.
