Goldberg Captures Interesting Record As WWE Universal Champion

Goldberg is the Universal Champion after WWE Super ShowDown. He broke a hard to reach milestone in the process.

After winning the title in Saudi Arabia, Goldberg became the first person to win a major WWE Title after being inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame. Some have wrestled after being inducted, but Goldberg is the first to hold a top singles title in the company.

@Goldberg is the first Superstar to win a WORLD championship after being inducted into the @WWE Hall of Fame.

Overall, he is the 8th person to win any championship in @WWE after entering the HOF. #WWESS

We’ll have to see how the road to WrestleMania turns out for Goldberg. As Brad Shepard reported a while ago, he was fully expected to compete at the show of shows. Now he’ll be doing it as a champion while holding an impressive record in the process.
