WWE could be considering some big changes to the WWE Network. Vince McMahon said that the company is far enough along in talks to sell streaming rights for big events that something should be announced during this quarter.

The idea that fans might have to venture to another streaming service to watch WWE’s big events isn’t the only possible change. We keep hearing about the possibility of implementing a premium tier as well.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that Canadian fans will need to dig a bit deeper in their pockets to pay for the WWE Network. They have apparently jacked up the price a bit for Canadians.

“On Canadian television they had ads for the WWE Network and the ad said $14.99 is the price. It used to be $12.99, so they did a price raise in Canada.”

The WWE Network is still $9.99 for fans in America. The fact that WWE is hiking up the price for the United States’ neighbors to the north might be a sign that WWE is looking to alter the price for American fans eventually.
