MJF Says Cage Match On AEW Dynamite Will Be A Murder

Cody Rhodes is set for a historic match as he and Wardlow will battle in AEW’s first-ever steel cage match. The contest is going down tonight on Dynamite live on TNT.

MJF cut a short promo about the upcoming match. He will not be in the battle, but odds are he’ll be close. If Cody Rhodes can defeat Wardlow then that will secure a match at AEW Revolution versus The Salt Of The Earth.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman said that tonight’s cage match isn’t even going to be a match. It will be a murder.

“It’s not gonna be a match. It’s gonna be a murder. The match tonight is going to be quick. It’s going to be painful. It’s going to be barbaric, but most importunately it is going to put a dagger into the heart of your hero Cody Rhodes.”

MJF seems to be very confident in Wardlow’s abilities. We have yet to see Wardlow wrestle in AEW so this should be interesting. It will also be very painful for Cody Rhodes so everyone should have a wonderful time.
