When WWE Decided To Bring Matt Hardy Back To RAW

Matt Hardy said goodbye this week, but he’ll be back next week. This was not the original plan.

PW Insider reports that the WWE creative team changed their minds about writing Hardy off of television. This happened in the last 24 hours.

PWInsider.com is told that creative direction was decided upon over the last 24 hours as Hardy was not originally slated for Raw and had even tweeted a goodbye message on social media.

We previously reported that Bryan Alvarez mentioned that Hardy’s segment with Randy Orton was the second highest rated portion of RAW this week. That likely led to them making this decision to keep Matt Hardy around for another week.
