WrestleMania is an event where a lot of people can cash in and make money. Scalpers get in line with fans to snag tickets and flip for a profit. That’s not working out too well this year.
WWE has not sold out WrestleMania 36 yet this year. That is becoming an issue on the secondary market. Scalpers are currently listing WrestleMania 36 tickets at way less than they originally had them priced at.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that some scalpers are listing their tickets at below face value. This is not a good sign, but scalpers have experienced difficulty cashing in on pro wrestling events recently.
Scalpers have really had troubles with wrestling of late, as they miss on the few shows with demand for the most part, and overbuy on the shows you think would but don’t.
You can check out a screenshot of the current Stub Hub seating chart below. As WrestleMania draws closer and the company starts to announce matches they might move tickets faster. Still, with a destination event like WrestleMania a lot of people who are going would normally have their tickets by now.
