#1 Contender Match Announced For WWE SmackDown This Week

WWE Friday Night SmackDown is set to feature plenty of women’s action as a fatal 4-way match will determine the #1 contender.

Bayley doesn’t have someone to face for her title and they will settle her next opponent tonight on SmackDown. Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Carmella, and Dana Brooke will all do battle for a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Title.

WWE included the following write-up as part of the match announcement.

Alexa Bliss, Naomi, Carmella and Dana Brooke are set to face off in a Fatal 4-Way Match for a future championship match against Bayley. Naomi made a statement last weekend by attacking Bayley, but former champions Bliss and Carmella as well as the rising Brooke will all be vying for the title opportunity.

It was not specified when this SmackDown Women’s Title match will take place. WWE has the Elimination Chamber and Super ShowDown before WrestleMania as well.
