Mercedes Martinez Isn’t Playing Games In WWE NXT

Mercedes Martinez has worked the indies for nearly 20 years and she finally arrived in WWE. She’s not wasting that opportunity.

Martinez defeated Kacy Catanzaro this week on WWE NXT, but she’s not done yet. She had a chance to speak with WWE after her big match and she had a lot to say in a quick promo where she discussed her aggressiveness.

“Flipped the switch? Aggressive? Do you not know who I am? Aggressive is what I’m all about. Kacy, I give her props, but the thing is she came here because she was on a game show. I’ve been busting my butt for 19 years to get to this platform, honey. This is not a game to me. This is my life. Aggressiveness? You haven’t seen aggressiveness yet. This is my NXT now, baby.”

She quickly left after that. We can only imagine what WWE NXT has planned for someone like Mercedes Martinez. She is certainly off to a great start.
