AEW Set To Air History-Making Match On Dark This Week

AEW got to produce some very fun segments on the Chris Jericho Cruise. Another thing that took place was the company’s first mixed tag match. This turned into more of an intergender contest at points and now fans will get to see the history-making match.

Kenny Omega & Riho vs Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford will be included on AEW Dark this week. This was the company’s first mixed-tag match, but it was also noted that there was plenty of intergender wrestling as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio.

It will be interesting to see a reaction. It will be interesting to see if people watch Dark to see that match or if they don’t care. Because if they don’t care that will tell a message, but if the number is way up then that will also tell a message.

Tonight’s episode of AEW Dark could go on to tell a lot about what AEW fans want to see. All Elite Wrestling waited an extra week to bring fans the company’s first mixed tag team match. Let’s see how it turns out on television.
