Lio Rush spent a lot of time at home when WWE took him away from Bobby Lashley. The Man Of The Hour stayed busy the entire time.

While speaking to Swerve City Podcast, Rush revealed that he spent a lot of time writing music while he was at home. Music is another big passion for Lio Rush and he said that while he was at home he had time to write enough material for at least three more projects.

“Over the course of break where I wasn’t part of the company, kinda taking a hiatus, I started writing music. Over that time, I wrote down enough music to probably make three or four projects. It was a sensitive time for me. Everybody wanted to know what was going on. A lot of people’s perception of me was, it wasn’t positive. And it definitely didn’t help that I was a heel on television and I was doing my job as a heel and making people hate me. That definitely didn’t go in my favor. I felt it was the perfect time to work on something that I always wanted to work on.”

Lio Rush released a couple of rap songs while he was on his hiatus from WWE. You can check out one of those here.

Odds are he’s not slowing down with music even though he’s back on WWE television. Since he’s in NXT that likely provides him with ample opportunity to focus on music since he doesn’t have to travel as much with the WWE main roster.
