How WWE Tried To Keep Edge’s Royal Rumble Return A Secret

Edge was expected to return at the Royal Rumble. He tried really hard to deny those reports, but it obviously didn’t work.

Mike Johnson reported on PW Insider that WWE flew Edge into Houston on the morning of the Royal Rumble event. Then they kept him hidden backstage to the best of their ability.

He was flown this morning via private plane to Houston, at which point he was hidden away until it was time for his ring entrance.

Edge will be wrestling again and there is a WrestleMania opponent already decided for him. We just don’t know when he’ll show up next. He will be working a schedule somewhat like Brock Lesnar. As we all know Lesnar doesn’t wrestle on television.
