Welcome to Ringside News’ coverage of WWE NXT. Please keep refreshing throughout the show for constant updates once it kicks off at 8:00 PM EST

This week is set to be another action-filled episode of NXT, as we continue the opening round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and crown a new #1 Contender for Rhea Ripley’s NXT Women’s Championship.

In the first of two tag team matches, the “BroserWeights” Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne will take on NXT UK’s Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster. Andrews and Webster are coming off of a brutal ladder match from NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II, so they cannot be at 100%, but Riddle and Dunne are not a well-oiled tag team like Andrews and Webster. Will the BroserWeights come out on top, or will Andrews and Webster emerge victorious?

In the second tag team match, the Time Splitters Alex Shelley and Kushida reunite for the first time since 2015 to take on NXT UK’s Grizzled Young Veterans, Zack Gibson and James Drake. With this being Shelley’s debut match on NXT television, it would be a huge upset for the Grizzled Young Veterans to come out on top, but it would also not be unheard of for a young new talent to lose their first match on NXT, like Austin Theory did just three weeks ago. This is sure to be a fun match to watch.

Keeping with the NXT UK discussion, Undisputed Era shocked the NXT UK system when they invaded at the end of TakeOver: Blackpool II and attacked Imperium. Will Imperium look to get retribution ahead of the Worlds Collide tournament? Adam Cole and his cohorts will likely be on their toes tonight.

Finally, in what will likely be the main event, we will crown a #1 contender for Rhea Ripley’s NXT Women’s Championship. Not only will this match host NXT women’s division veterans like Dakota Kai and Candice LeRae, but it will also be the in-ring NXT debut of Chelsea Green and Mercedes Martinez, two of the newest members of the NXT roster. Who will go on to face Rhea Ripley at TakeOver: Portland? Find out tonight.

All of this and more will happen when NXT goes live on the USA Network, and we will begin coverage at 8:00 PM EST!
