Matt Hardy might not have much time left in WWE if he doesn’t reach a new deal with the company. His contract is up on March 1st. There was some recently confusion regarding which roster he’s on, but now he’s speaking up about it.
Hardy explained why he appeared on Raw and then had a SmackDown roster logo next to his name on WWE’s official profile for him. He said that he’s always been on the blue brand despite not being in the most recent WWE Draft.
His appearances on Raw in recent months never meant an official move over to the red team.
Ever since I returned last February, I’ve been listed on the #SmackDown roster. When I performed on #RAW in November & December, I wasn’t ever officially put on RAW roster. Saw several websites suggesting I’d switched roster pages, but not the case.
Lance Storm suggested that the WWE roster page is “broken.”
Matt Hardy will remain on SmackDown, but he’s been seen most recently on Raw. It will be interesting to see when he shows up next and how he’s used. An impending WWE exit might mean the company won’t be too keen to give him too much of a spotlight.
