Bobby Lashley & Lana’s Reverend Speaks Out After Security Pounced On Him During WWE RAW

Bobby Lashley and Lana’s segment was coming up next and that involved bringing back their reverend from last week. Someone didn’t tell security about this angle because they attacked actor Rick Malone as he was sliding into the ring.

Security was later told that they were attacking someone who WWE needed for the next segment. Then Malone was released. This entire incident was caught on camera and now Malone is commenting on the situation. On his Facebook page, Malone said:

“In my defense, I was only trying to do my job and officiate the “Bobby Lashley and Lana Wedding” tonight but security wouldn’t let me into the ring so I had no other choice but to dive in headfirst!” before later joking, “Oh, that didn’t end so well!” and “Obviously not my best camera angle!”

This was a simple misunderstanding. Hopefully, WWE informs security of anyone extra they’re adding to the program from now on.

PW Insider reports that there is no word regarding whether Malone will receive “hazard pay.”
