CM Punk Reveals Internal WWE Document Showing Planned WrestleMania Opponent

CM Punk has held onto a lot of very cool things from his career. He recently showed off something from his collection and it might make fans look at WrestleMania XXX very differently.

Punk recently posted a picture of an internal document from WWE showing an initial booking sheet for WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans. It’s pretty obvious by looking at this projected card that Triple H’s match changed dramatically.

The booking sheet that CM Punk shared clearly shows that CM Punk vs Triple H was slated to go down at WrestleMania XXX. This was the plan as of January 21st, 2014.

Daniel Bryan actually went to WrestleMania XXX and defeated Triple H to go on later in the main event to capture the WWE Championship in a triple threat match. That wasn’t the initial plan and CM Punk has proof.

Obviously, this puts any rumors to rest that WWE was planning Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania XXX victories well in advance. As of January 2014, CM Punk was supposed to be facing Triple H instead.
