Matt Hardy Praises AEW World Champion Chris Jericho

There are plenty of up-and-coming superstars to keep an eye on within WWE as we approach 2020, but arguably one of the most interesting cases comes from a man who many consider to be in the twilight of his career: and that man is Matt Hardy.

Matt has gone through so many different styles, characters and personas throughout his career that we’re at a point whereby it’s almost too hard to keep track.

One thing we all know to be true, though, is that he’s a free spirit who isn’t afraid to get out there and say exactly how he feels – especially on social media.

Interestingly enough, last night, Hardy decided to quote tweet a message from Chris Jericho that was sent way back in 2016 when Jericho was still with WWE.

Matt notes that Chris was one of the first people to see the potential that The Final Deletion and the Broken Universe had, with Matt going on to experience the kind of career resurgence that most fans knew was going to lead to his WWE return one day.

The fascinating thing about this is that he felt the need to touch upon Jericho’s run in All Elite Wrestling, where he is the current AEW World Champion.

The WWE Universe largely believes that Matt will go on to join a promotion such as AEW once his contract with WWE comes to an end, but with a guy like him you just never truly know for sure what you’re going to get.
