Johnny Gargano Issues A Warning To Finn Balor

Johnny Gargano made his long-awaited return to NXT last night in order to confront Finn Balor and really kickstart the next chapter of their feud against one another.

Gargano, who many consider to be Mr. NXT, has made it crystal clear that he is going to make sure Balor pays for his sins – with his sins, in this instance, being the attack from a few weeks back.

Balor was in the midst of an attempt to capture the NXT Championship which, courtesy of this attack, wound up failing. After the match, Gargano was quick to jump on social media to issue a warning for what could prove to be a long road ahead for Finn.

Ever since turning heel fans have certainly been more invested in the idea of Balor rising to the top of NXT, although some still view him as more of a tweener. Regardless of what you consider his alignment to be, few can argue that he is one of the best performers in the world right now.

One thing that’ll certainly help him to uphold that legacy is a feud with Johnny Gargano, which you could argue will wind up determining who is going to contest the NXT Championship match during WrestleMania weekend – and perhaps even at WrestleMania itself.

There are so many different directions that NXT could go in with this feud and that’s the sort of dynamic you need at this level of competition to really keep the fans on the edge of their seat.
