Stephanie McMahon Wants CM Punk & AJ Lee Back In WWE

CM Punk appears on WWE Backstage every so often, but his wife AJ Lee doesn’t seem to have any interest. Stephanie McMahon would love to see more of them than that.

While speaking to The Metro, WWE’s Chief Brand Officer was asked about CM Punk and AJ Lee’s possible return to the company. She replied that CM Punk has been “pretty vocal” about not wrestling again. She later went on to say that she would love to see AJ Lee make a return to the women’s division.

‘I think Punk’s been pretty vocal that he’s not interested in an in-ring return right now, but for sure, that would be interesting.”

“And I would love to see AJ Lee back in the women’s division. I think AJ Lee was an incredibly compelling character,’ she said. ‘You know, I’m a big fan of AJ Lee’s, I really am.’

Stephanie McMahon isn’t the only big AJ Lee fan in WWE. Her return could certainly cause a lot of people to pay attention to what’s going on. We’ll have to see what 2020 brings WWE, but at this time it doesn’t seem likely that either member of the Brooks household will be returning to the ring.
