While Oney Lorcan may be busy gearing up for life outside of WWE after asking for his release, he’s still happy to entertain the masses on social media to the delight of his many followers.

His niche content never fails to put a smile on our face, and while he was never able to ascend to the heights many had hoped for him in WWE, it certainly appears as if he’s going to be doing some really fun things out on the independent scene.

His latest Twitter story stems from his first ever match with the company which actually went down almost a decade ago when he went toe to toe with none other than The Great Khali.

Calling Khali an imposing figure would be an understatement, and calling him a stylistically bad match-up for Lorcan would just be a fact. Alas, as you can tell by Lorcan’s amusing description, there’s much more to the story than initially meets the eye.

Lorcan’s promo work alone, both on social media and in the ring itself, makes him a valuable commodity regardless of what company he’s working for. He’s the definition of someone who showcases what it means to go into business for yourself in the best way imaginable.

Oney’s departure is upsetting but this could be the beginning of a brand new chapter for him. Who knows, maybe somewhere down the road he’ll be back again – but we aren’t worried about his future either way, because this guy gets it.
