Adam Cole made a big mark on both Raw and SmackDown before Survivor Series. He had matches against both Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins in a very short stint of time. All the while, Cole had to worry about keeping his NXT Title.
On WWE The Bump, Adam Cole discussed those two big matches. He was able to defeat Daniel Bryan and he came very close to beating The Architect. He wanted to prove anyone wrong who doubted him in any way.
“I think the biggest thing about beating Daniel Bryan and then taking Seth Rollins to the limit was just the perception of other people. I know how good I am, again, I’ve proven it time and time again. People have seen me perform for years know how good I am.”
“Beating a guy like Daniel Bryan, that just showed so many new people seriously what I’m capable of. I take being the NXT Champion incredibly, incredibly seriously so those wins were huge for me.”
Cole is looking on to his NXT Title match against Finn Balor tonight on the USA Network. The two will open the program this week in a commercial-free contest. 2019 was a pretty great year for Adam Cole. Now he is concentrating on removing all doubt from anyone else who might have some left in 2020.
