WWE announced that the nWo and Batista will be inducted into the 2020 WWE Hall Of Fame. Those were great picks to start off with and they will probably help sell tickets. Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas would like to see someone in stripes get inducted next.
Korderas spoke up during a recent Reffin’ Rant saying that he thinks Big Dave Bautista is a great pick. Dana Brooke would have to agree. Then Korderas said that he doesn’t understand the controversy surrounding the nWo members who will receive inductions.
This was followed by Korderas suggesting that “Maybe it’s time to start thinking about inducting a referee into the WWE Hall Of Fame.” He might not be alone in that mindset as plenty of fans would probably agree that there are several referees who deserve the honor.
Earl Hebner might not be in the running due to how he exited the company and the fact that he’s working for All Elite Wrestling now. Guys like Tim White, Jimmy Korderas, and Mike Chioda might still be great picks. Those are just three of the many choices WWE has.
Vince McMahon is the final decision maker when it comes to the WWE Hall Of Fame. So, it’s all his choice, but it might not hurt to give some much-deserved recognition to those officials who really are unsung heroes in the company.
