Jungle Boy has a match against Le Champion of AEW on December 18th, but it won’t be a title match. This is still going to be a great chance for Jungle Boy to impress a lot of fans as he closes out 2019.

F4Wonline notes that AEW’s plan to push Jungle Boy has been in place since the first Casino Battle Royale. They didn’t want to rush anything, but this match against Chris Jericho could be the start of something pretty special for Jack Perry.

Jungle Boy was one of the guys for months now that they earmarked for a no rush focus, dating back to his doing well in the first Battle Royal.

Chris Jericho vs Jungle Boy will be a ten minute non-title match. The fact that it has a ten minute time limit is very interesting because it just seems like they are begging for the clock to tick down. There are much worse ways that Jungle Boy could close out 2019 than with a draw against Chris Jericho.
