Luke Harper is now a free man. After months of waiting to see if he will be used on television WWE has finally released the former Wyatt Family member.
Harper requested his WWE release, but it was not granted. WWE reportedly tacked on more time to his contract due to an injury. Now the company is confirming his release. They seemed to lump this in with the announcement of Sin Cara’s release as well.
WWE has come to terms on the releases of Jonathan Huber (Luke Harper) and Sin Cara. WWE wishes them all the best in their future endeavors.
Harper filed a copyright on the name “Brodie Lee” not too long ago. That was his name on the indies before coming to WWE so that will likely be his name once again.
This is great news for Luke Harper because he was not happy. WWE brought him back for one brief run with Erick Rowan before he disappeared again. We will have to see where he ends up next.
