Why WWE Didn’t Punish Corey Graves Over Mauro Ranallo Tweet

Corey Graves made a remark about Mauro Ranallo’s commentary during NXT TakeOver: WarGames. This caused Ranallo to deactivate his Twitter account. Ranallo was also supposed to call the NXT Title match at Survivor Series with Corey Graves, but the Bi-Polar Rock n Roller didn’t stay for that.

Mauro Ranallo missed the next week of NXT as well. This led some fans to say that Corey Graves should be punished. According to Mike Johnson on PW Insider Elite audio, there is no risk of that happening.

“I was told this week when all of that went down that nothing is going to happen to Corey Graves. Vince loves Corey Graves. So Vince does love him, I don’t know why, but he loves him.”

Mauro Ranallo did return to commentary for NXT this week. He received an amazing standing ovation as well. It seems like this situation might be in the past, but Corey Graves probably has nothing to worry about anyway.
