Big E Not Happy About How Kofi Kingston Lost WWE Title

Kofi Kingston won the WWE Title and everyone celebrated KofiMania. He held the title for months until he stepped in the ring with Brock Lesnar.

The Beast Incarnate defeated Kofi Kingston with one sudden F5 during Friday Night SmackDown’s Fox debut. Kofi Kingston understood what needed to happen, but Big E wasn’t happy at all about it. Big E revealed on After The Bell that he was actually quite irate about how Kofi lost the title.

“Kofi Kingston is a lot more level-headed than maybe anyone else that I have met in the business because everyone else would have reacted – actually, I was irate when I found out about it and that is a testament to Kofi. I’m not saying no one else in the industry, but very few people would have had that approach, but not many would have taken that approach and not have sour grapes and be able to move on.”

Kofi Kingston is a one-of-a-kind Superstar who understands the business. He had a great run as Champion, but all good things must come to an end. It might have been nice if Kofi Kingston could have put up more of a fight against Brock Lesnar, but they had to get the match over fast so Cain Velasquez could make his big debut.
