There’s no feasible way of recreating the Four Horsemen in the current era of professional wrestling, because it simply wouldn’t work out as well as it did back in the day and that much is a fact.
It’s one of the most iconic stables in the history of the business, and only those who lived through the era will understand that. Of course, the legacy of the group lives on, especially when it comes to the rise of All Elite Wrestling.
There are multiple figures from the original Horsemen generation that have appeared on Dynamite or one of their big pay per view shows, with one such example being Arn Anderson.
As you can see Arn’s idea of what the Horsemen would look like in the present day didn’t exactly go down all too well, as he decided to throw Cody Rhodes, The Revival and Braun Strowman together in this imaginary faction – which Shawn Spears isn’t a fan of.
The two men came to blows during Spears’ All Out clash with Cody Rhodes, and it appears as if they’re more than happy to keep that train rolling for a little while longer.
In our personal opinion that group actually looks like it’d be a whole lot of fun, but we’d probably substitute Cody for Randy Orton who has already been able to build up quite the relationship with The Revival as of late.
Beyond that, though, we’re interested to see whether or not the era of factions continues quite as strongly as it has done in the past.
