Triple H’s Backstage Reaction To Britt Baker Appearing During NXT TakeOver: WarGames

Britt Baker was at NXT TakeOver: WarGames because she wanted to see her boyfriend Adam Cole wrestle. He was in a big match and she couldn’t miss it. Her concern for this contest and Cole’s well-being is ultimately what caused her to get a spot on camera.

Baker was briefly shown during NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Mauro Ranallo even called her out by name. As soon as he did, Baker’s Google search trends shot through the roof.

Fightful Select reports that the director for NXT TakeOver: WarGames was a different man than they usually have. He honestly didn’t know who Baker was, but as soon as Triple H saw it, he rushed to get her taken off screen.

We’ve heard from several people familiar with the situation surrounding Britt Baker appearing on screen on NXT Takeover, that it played out almost exactly as Triple H stated. A director cut to Baker, and Triple H rushed them to get her off screen. We’re told this director was not the same one that has worked most NXT Takeover shows

It’s very likely that if Britt Baker attends another NXT event she won’t appear on camera. This isn’t the first time she’s been seen on screen, but it was certainly the most attention she’s received after getting a cameo during one of Adam Cole’s matches.
