CM Punk Praises Renee Young During WWE Backstage

CM Punk’s full debut on WWE Backstage last night certainly created a lot of chaos within the world of pro wrestling, and especially amongst members of the WWE Universe.

The former WWE Champion has never been one to hold back on what he thinks and he certainly isn’t going to start now, as he continues to call out the company that he was once at the top of.

While Punk had a lot of negative things to say about the product, which we can appreciate and understand given that he did say he was going to be honest, he also took the time in the middle of the show to make an important note on social media.

While some will point to the success of Talking Smack and WWE Backstage and suggest that Daniel Bryan and CM Punk were the primary reasons as to why they worked so well, it’s important to remember that there was one constant through both of those shows: Renee Young.

She was, and still is, the glue that holds it all together, and we’re pretty confident in saying that she was probably one of the main reasons why Punk actually agreed to do this show in the first place.

They have a really fun back and forth chemistry and as opposed to them being hostile towards one another, they just seem to be good friends who are enjoying their time working together for the first time in nearly six years. It’s great to see.
