Johnny Gargano’s Status For WWE NXT TakeOver: WarGames

Johnny Gargano hasn’t wrestled in a few weeks despite so much going on within NXT. Now it appears that he will be good to go by WarGames.

Gargano needed to pull out of the upcoming EVOLVE events next month in Michigan and Chicago. This was not idea and he sent out a message to fans about having to cancel these appearances.

I’m sorry to everyone that bought tickets to meet me this weekend. It truly breaks my heart not to be able to make it but I’m fortunate I have people willing to put my health first in this crappy situation..

PW Insider reports that Johnny Gargano “should be good to go” by the time WarGames rolls around. This leaves the possibility open that Gargano could find himself in the vacant spot on Team Ciampa in Chicago.

Gargano hated to pull out of the EVOLVE events, but he had other things to take care of. He also noted that he’s fortunate to have people putting his health first “in this crappy situation.”
