AJ Styles Pitched Big WWE Survivor Series Match

The OC invaded WWE NXT this week and a lot of people were talking about that show. It turns out that AJ Styles wanted more from that angle.

Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson attacked Adam Cole and company even before NXT went on the air. The OC showed up on NXT and they had their sights directed at the Undisputed Era.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AJ Styles pitched an idea this week for the OC to face Undisputed Era at Survivor Series. Their NXT invasion would have built toward that match.

At TV this week, Styles pitched the idea of the OC against the Undisputed Era for Survivor Series. However, it looks right now that if the match will take place on NXT television down the line, or on television somewhere since they shot the angle for it on NXT.

It was noted that while WWE can always change their minds, that multi-man match is currently set for an episode of NXT down the line. We’re likely to see the match, but not on the big Survivor Series stage.
