AEW Dynamite Defeats WWE NXT Once Again — But Not By Much

The ratings are in and the Wednesday Night Wars continue to be a bit one-sided. WWE threw a lot at NXT this week with AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows showing up, but AEW fans turned out in greater numbers once again. The numbers were very close though.

Showbuzz Daily reports that AEW Dynamite brought in 822,000 viewers with NXT bringing in 813,000. That is an incredibly slim margin to win this week of the Wednesday Night Wars.

This week comes off of last week’s episodes of AEW and NXT that ran against game seven of the World Series. Some were thinking that AEW would return to over 1 million viewers again, but that did not happen.
