WWE Changed Finish On RAW This Week

WWE brought an exciting RAW full of Superstars and angles to New York last night. One of the matches that went down on the show wasn’t the initial plan.

Natalya and Charlotte Flair defeated Asuka and Kairi Sane on RAW this week. This loss for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions actually wasn’t in the original plan as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio.

“I don’t know what happened to lead to a change here, but the original finish was Asuka and Kairi going over.”

It was supposed that Natalya picked up the win because she is coming off such a public relations wave after Crown Jewel.

We’ll have to see where this is leading, but it only makes sense that Nattie and Charlotte will get a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title opportunity after their win on RAW.
